TAMPA, Fla. (Aug. 30, 2010) – Ryan will host its 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Oct. 25 with proceeds benefiting Moffitt Cancer Center. Moffitt Cancer Center, University of Tampa Commercializing Intellectual Property

Tampa, FL — Moffitt Cancer Center and the University of Tampa are collaborating to commercialize intellectual property. Moffitt researchers making discoveries have an ownership interest in the commercialization process but often do not have the appropriate training in the business arena. Moffitt Cancer Center Awarded $2.5 Million Grant To Develop Novel Therapies For B-Cell Lymphomas

TAMPA, Fla. (July 26, 2010) – The National Institutes of Health has awarded a $2.5 million grant to Moffitt Cancer Center researcher Eduardo M. Sotomayor, M.D., to develop novel therapies for B-cell lymphomas and particularly for mantle cell lymphoma.

Scott Antonia To Lead Moffitt Cancer Center’s Lung Cancer Program

TAMPA, Fla. (July 19, 2010) - Scott J. Antonia, M.D., Ph.D., has been named program leader of the Thoracic Oncology Program at Moffitt Cancer Center. Antonia has been with Moffitt since 1994. His research interests include the immunobiology of malignancy and gene-modified tumor cell vaccine trials.
